Bird House's in Thimbleberries and reproductions

Another quilt I started in 2009 was Safe Haven from the Thimbleberries Big Block book. I made the quilt entirely from salesman samples. Small pieces from the books that the fabric sales people bring in to get a quilt shop to buy the fabric line. That was a challenge as I was quite limited to the amount of fabric I had. The largest piece was about 10 inch square. The only fabric I purchased was the border pieces to put the rows together. It is a row quilt with the birdhouse blocks running vertical. It still needs the borders and then needs to be quilted.
